1. How long will it take my carpet to dry?

It is ok to walk on it with socks on right away. Just remember your socks could be damp and make other flooring surfaces slick. So you want to exercise caution and avoid slipping. Just remember not to wear outside shoes on a damp carpet. Any dirt on the bottom of your shoes will transfer to the carpet while it is still damp.
